Question by Rachel.: How to remove old microsoft office?
I have a new version of microsoft office, but I can’t delete the old one (and by old I mean old it’s 97) because it asks for the disk to be uninstalled. I don’t have the disk anymore I’ve kept it on my computer for ages and I just didn’t think to delete it until now. I’ve tried add or remove programs. Any ideas? and i don’t want any risk of my new microsoft office to be removed.

That shouldn’t prevent you from installing the new version. Also, go to the control panel and select the programs icon. There you will find a list of installed programs, just click on Microsoft Office’97 and it will delete it. If not, open your computer file and scroll down to x86 programs and locate the program. Right click and delete them manually. Using this method will miss some things located elsewhere, but those items will be overwritten by the new install.
