Will Office 2010 work on my 64 bit laptop?

Question by Joe H: Will Office 2010 work on my 64 bit laptop?

I’ve literally just purchased Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus. I saw the bargain and rushed into it, stupidly buying the 32 bit version, when I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

If I try installing Office when it gets delivered will it not work, or will it be ok?

Yes it will work fine, 32 bit programs work perfectly fine on a 64 bit OS. On the other hand 64 bit programs don’t work on a 32 bit. Hope that clears everything up.
