Question by joel: Do new laptops with windows 7 come with Microsoft office 2010 OS?
I just ordered a new laptop… Samsung 300V5A, Now I need to get Office 2010 on it.
Im wondering if I can just buy the Product key which is much cheaper than the full blown package.

On most new computers Office is installed in Trial Mode, which means that yes, all you should need to buy is the product key in order to activate it as the full product.
It’s really kind of stupid. I remember the days when Office came pre-installed with a full license on factory builds and you didn’t have to pay anything.
