Is Windows XP still a good choice for an operating system?

Question by Wrighty – Gone For Good!: Is Windows XP still a good choice for an operating system?

I’ve been looking at buying the new Dell Mini, which comes with Windows XP Service Pack 3. I have some reservations as I’d be taking a step back from Windows Vista, would you say it’s worth my while or is it old technology now?

it is worth your while, XP is still pretty great.

Vista With service Pack 1 is a decent operating system, but you will notice some performance decrease on a lower end system

Also Windows 7 is due out in 2009
