Question by Vicky-Leigh: How do I uninstall Lync from Microsoft Office 2013?

Does anyone know how I can uninstall JUST Lync from my Microsoft Office package. I really don’t need it but I don’t want to uninstall Office completely as I have work saved in Word that I don’t want to lose.

Hi Vicky-Leigh,

You may uninstall the Lync 2013 by following the steps from link: http://bit.ly/11kFDhj.

In case the above steps does not work, you may try to disable Lync from MS Office 2013 by following steps below:

Open Lync options > Personal tab > You can set Lync to not start with windows.
