How do I install Winows 7 with only a product key?

Question by pierre coleman: How do I install Winows 7 with only a product key?

I have the product key for Windows 7 Starter edition which came with the Laptop, but XP was installed on it instead; this means I do not have the install CD or anything to install Win 7 with.

I need some other way of getting it such as downloading it from the Microsoft website.
