this will be a piece of cake for a computer science major people.

i think most of them will tell u to re-install the OS: windows 8

So all you need is :

a OEM windows 8 DVD for your machine band.

when you re-install it ,just don’t forget to format your harddrive before you install.

if you don’t have that DVD, get a OEM windows 8 DVD for your machine is just a little kind of hard,

but you can try do down load from the internet.

It is free, and no copy right problem , because it is OEM, HP already paid for it.

You shoud have a window label at the back of your laptop ,

it will give you a key,

and tell you what window 8 this is eg. professional, home , basic.

then you can search torrent like “windows 8 home HP OEM ”

then burn a DVD….

remember , u need exact the words for “HP OEM” and ” home” which matching your OS label.

after that u can search “how to re-install window” , lots of videos there.

Good luck,

and Enjoy
